Our expectations is that this repeater will go live very early in 2026. More details at gb3oo.co.uk OFCOM has issued a license to establish a new Amateur TV Repeater at Detling Hill, Kent. Work is in progress to bring this exciting new repeater to fruition in November 2025. If you are registered on the GV3JV web site, you will find that your login credentials have been carried across to GB3JT and GB3OO. The web sites are in a very early stage of development, so many of the pages are currently restricted, this will change as we get closer to the launch of these exciting new repeaters. (requires VLC to be installed) 21/09/2025. The controller and receiver sections of the repeater rack build is now complete. Next step is the RF modulation, h.264 encoder and ModBUS management system. Progress Update: 70cm Rx antenna was delivered from WIMO, Germany on 16/09/2025, next step is to build the stack. Rack build is progressing, we are still awaiting delivery of a couple of pieces of hardware that is blocking the final build of the controller, receiver & monitoring section, following this there is about 1/2 day of work left to complete everything apart from the RF transmitter side. Network configuration & testing complete Software validation has gone well, you can see the result on the web stream 14/09/2025. Web stream tests have begun as part of the system validation tests. Please expect frequent outages until the equipment has been installed on site.
